Vintage
Track
Day
9am

5pm
Willow
Springs
Raceway
3500
75th
St
W,
Rosamond,
CA

What?
Track
day
for
AHRMA
prepped
race
bikes
as
well
as
vintage
and
classic
street
bikes
to
get
on
the
racetrack
and
have
some
fun
in
a
low
pressure
and
friendly
environment.
We
realized
that
many
vintage
and
classic
bike
racers
and
street
riders
want
to
go
spend
a
day
at
the
track
but
don’t
want
to
be
out
there
getting
blitzed
by
people
they
don’t
know
on
R1’s
and
Panigales

so
we
decided
to
throw
our
own
track
day!
Who?
Friends
and
friends
of
friends
that
are
interested
in
getting
on
the
track
in
a
friendly
environment.
AHRMA
racers.
Modern
vintage
bikers.
Do
I
Need
Track
Experience?
No,
not
necessarily.
We’ll
go
over
what
you
need
to
know,
make
sure
you’re
safe
and
help
you
as
much
as
you’d
like.
Are
there
Requirements
for
Bikes?
A
few.
If
it’s
a
street
bike
you’ll
have
to
remove
or
tape
up
your
lights
and
turn
signals.
You’ll
want
to
make
sure
your
tires
are
in
good
shape,
your
chain
is
properly
adjusted,
your
oil
has
been
changed
or
checked
and
your
oil
drain
bolt
is
tight
(very
important!).
Water
cooled
bikes
must
use
water
or
water
wetter.
NO
ANTI-‐FREEZE.
If
you’re
not
sure
about
any
of
this
or
need
help
let
us
know
and
we’ll
get
you
sorted.
Are
there
Requirements
for
Gear?
Yes.
A
good
quality
full-‐face
helmet
(Meets
Snell
M2010,
FIM
BSI
6658
Type
A
“Blue
Label”,
FIM
ECER22.05
or
FIM
JIST
8133:2000
standard.),
full
leather
gloves,
over
the
calf
boots
and
a
one
or
two-‐piece
leather
race
or
riding
suit.
Back
protectors
are
highly
recommended.
If
you’re
not
sure
if
you’re
gear
is
adequate
or
you
don’t
have
gear
again,
let
us
know
and
we’ll
either
borrow,
lend
or
share
gear
or
point
you
to
where
you
can
buy
what
you
need,
but
please
ask
us
first
and
we’ll
see
if
we
can
get
you
equipped.
What
If
I
Have
No
Idea
What
I’m
Doing?
Don’t
sweat
it.
None
of
us
knew
what
they
were
doing
the
first
time.
We’ll
have
experienced
folks
you
can
contact
with
questions,
talk
to
at
the
track
and
help
you
out
on
the
track
if
you
want
it.
And
the
morning
of
the
event
we’ll
walk
through
what
you
need
to
know
to
safely
get
on
and
off
the
track
and
get
you
out
having
fun.
For
those
people
who
have
never
been
on
the
track
or
ever
been
on
this
track
we’ll
do
a
couple
of
laps
at
low
speed
behind
a
control
rider
so
you
can
see
how
to
get
on
the
track,
see
where
the
track
goes
and
how
to
get
off
the
track
safely.
Cool,
What
If
I
Want
Some
Help?
We’ll
have
a
number
of
people
available
to
talk
to
or
that
can
go
out
and
ride
around
with
you
and
give
you
some
feedback
and
pointers.
We’ll
introduce
those
folks
at
the
meeting
in
the
morning.
What
If
I
Crash?
There’s
no
reason
you
should
think
your
going
to
crash
but
things
happen.
Should
it
happen
we
have
an
ambulance
and
EMT’s
on
duty
at
the
track
in
case
of
injury.
If
it’s
minor
we’ll
get
you
and
your
bike
back
to
the
pits.
How’s
the
Day
Going
to
Go?
Gate
opens
at
6am.
You
can
also
arrive
the
day
before
and
camp
at
the
track
if
you
like,
no
additional
fee.
Before
you
are
allowed
on
the
track
you
must
first
bring
your
bike
to
tech,
an
area
where
we
can
look
it
over
and
make
sure
it’s
safe.
While
at
tech
you
must
sign
a
release
form.
At
815am
we’ll
have
a
meeting
to
say
hello,
go
over
the
track
basics
before
we
start
riding.
Track
will
be
open
for
riding
from
9am
to
5pm.
We
will
run
3
groups
with
each
group
being
announced
over
the
PA
as
well
as
the
board
at
the
track
entrance.
